Every successful yard needs a great team behind the scenes and at Brook Farm there is a dedicated
team looking after the livery and competition horses and ensuring the smooth running of the
yard.
Each one is experienced and qualified, and all are passionate about providing first class care for
the horses and owners.
Juliet Penwarden
Juliet is a British Horse Society accredited coach qualified to level 4 Senior Coach. She enjoys
teaching a wide range of horses and riders and helping partnerships to progress. She is an
advanced dressage rider and is currently competing at regional and national level.
With over 25 years' experience in the industry, she has competed with success in most disciplines
and her broad knowledge allows her to help combinations progress in dressage and jumping.

as an apprentice and in that time gained her BHS stages 1 to 3 and her Grooms Certificate,
she has since passed her BHS stage 2 and 3 Teaching and has her UKCC Level 2.
Chloe ensures the
smooth running of the yard, takes fantastic care of the horses and the clients and is generally
a vital part of the team. She particularly enjoys working with the competition horses and can be
seen out and about with them at many of the shows around the country.
Imogen Darrell
Imi has been at Brook Farm for a couple of years and is working towards her BHS exams. She has
previously studied for her Diploma at Easton College and has also spent some time at the British
Racing school and at other competition yards.
Imi enjoys all aspects of the equestrian world but
is especially keen on her showjumping and can be seen out competing on her own horse, Foxy.
John Penwarden
John primarily works on his own business building his
amazing Shepherd Huts but with his
Agricultural Diploma, he also takes great pride in ‘estate management’ keeping everything looking
fantastic at Brook Farm and ensuring the grassland is kept in tip top shape.
We also have a couple of great part time members who can be called upon to cover
if we are
away competing etc., and a great support team of farriers, vets, physios and nutritionists – all
helping to ensure the smooth running of Brook Farm and that all equine residents are kept to the
highest standards.
